Hidayah Foundation Visit to RGA Higher Primary & High School, Mysore | Understanding Educational & Technology Needs
Hidayah Foundation recently conducted a field visit to RGA Higher Primary & High School, Mysore, as part of its ongoing mission to empower communities through education and technology. The visit was aimed at understanding the real challenges faced by teachers and students and identifying opportunities where technology can create meaningful impact. During the visit, the Hidayah Foundation team interacted with the school’s Secretary, teaching staff, and students to gain insights into their educational needs, learning challenges, and technological accessibility. The discussions helped us better understand how digital solutions can support both teaching and learning experiences. This visit also played an important role in shaping the vision of Hidayah Connect, a technology-driven initiative designed to support communities by providing opportunities for skill development and additional income generation through digital empowerment. As part of this initiative, Hidayah Foundation is planning to introduce free weekend learning programs for students. These sessions will be conducted every Saturday and Sunday and will focus on: Basic and advanced technology skills Language development programs Digital literacy and career-oriented knowledge The entire program will be provided completely free of cost to ensure accessibility for students from all backgrounds. This visit reflects Hidayah Foundation’s commitment to working closely with communities, understanding their needs firsthand, and creating sustainable solutions that support education, employment opportunities, and social development.
Republic Day Outreach at Mathrubhoomi Child Home
On January 26, 2026, Hidayah Foundation conducted a Republic Day outreach event at Mathrubhoomi Child Home, Bangalore. The initiative focused on engaging with children through meaningful activities, providing meals, and understanding their educational and personal development needs. The event included sponsoring lunch for the children, distributing premium snack hampers, and organizing recreational activities such as dance sessions, drawing competitions, and interactive group engagement programs. During the visit, the team also spent time interacting with the children to understand their aspirations, challenges, and educational goals. Many children shared their ambitions of pursuing higher education and professional careers, highlighting the need for continued educational support and mentorship. This outreach initiative reflects Hidayah Foundation’s commitment to supporting underprivileged children through education, emotional encouragement, and community engagement.
